AUTHOR:

Gina Louisa Mathis

Gina Mathis revolutionizes Pilates and uses some of the elements in her training methods. Many professional athletes are excited about her uncommon training methods and train enthusiastically with Gina. Now, InspiredBySports could win Gina as an expert and she wants to introduce herself.

My name is Gina Mathes and I am a Classical Pilates Teacher and Personal Trainer. I have always been enthusiastic about sports and was a competitive figure skater in Switzerland for 16 years. My passion for athletics led me to study Sport and Applied Sciences in Berlin, while simultaneously completing the Comprehensive Classical Pilates Training Program (500 hours) in Berlin and in Rotterdam.

I have taken the motto of Joseph H. – “In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 you’ll see the difference, and in 30 you’ll have a new body”– to heart and have studied Pilates and its possibilities to include it my training. Due to my courage to see the world differently, I saw the potential of Pilates as a new form of training. I included Pilates elements in my training and can offer my customers to help them reach their full athletic potential.

This is why I specializes my pilates training for professional athletes of every sport. Due to my own experience as a professional athlete I can adapt the training for all needs. In recent years, I have trained professional Football and Ice Hockey players and serve as the Pilates trainer for the “Ochsner Hockey Academy”, the largest academy of its kind in Europe. Bringing Pilates and athletes together my is passion!
