The best known extreme sports festival worldwide, the FISE, meaning the “Festival International des Sports Extrêmes” is right around the corner. With more than 25 different types of extreme sports, the festival attracts thousands of athletes and fans every year to come to the heart of Montpellier, France. And now they’re restarting their world tour.
ABOUT
It all began back in 1997, when Hervé Andre Benoit, who was a business student from Montpellier, was standing right before his final project. His passion for extreme sports convinced him to start the project FISE. It started out in Palavas, France and thrilled around 100 athletes and 35.000 onlookers for a total of 3 days. As in today, it’s the most present sports festival worldwide with more than 500.000 visitors.
