From September 2 to 7, the world famous IFA takes place in Berlin, Germany. It is the leading European trade fair for consumer electronics. Also for sports-enthusiasts this is a perfect opportunity to check out the latest outdoor-gadgets on the market. Our reporter Lenz Noelkel is in Berlin and is completely thrilled by the new Sony Xperia XZ.

The new Sony Xperia XZ is really a must-have for all outdoor-sports enthusiasts. This brand new smartphone has not only an elegant design and makes brilliant pictures – it is also water proof. So for all the mountain bikers, surfers or action sports-addicts out there: this product may be worth considering!

This new Sony flagship has a camera with a resolution of 23 megapixels, which means that it is perfect to shoot high quality pictures during all kinds of sports activities. It also has a really huge 5,2 inch display with a HD-resolution, which seems to have a good quality. However, where there is light there is also shadows: If you want to have this new gadget to shoot the best pictures while doing sports, you will have to pay at least 699 €.
