KSWC Publishing-Team: Your three daily routines…Paula:  I enjoy going for a run in the morning or doing some yoga. Shall there be enough wind, you would rather find me somewhere at the ocean. Besides, I love to eat healthy, to cook with good ingredients and to take care of my physical health.KSWC Publishing-Team: Your perfect day..Paula: On a perfect day I would wake up between 7 and 8 am, and start the day with a quick and efficient run. Only if there is no wind of course. Followed by some yoga and stretching, I would then make myself a tasty and healthy breakfast.
To make sure, I have time to go kitesurfing the rest of the day, I would quickly check my mails, work for a while and leave the house to finally get to the sea. After a great kite session with my friends, we would all go for dinner and just enjoy life ! :-)KSWC Publishing-Team: Your favourite songPaula: I like Sia – Cheap ThrillsKSWC Publishing-Team: Name us three things you would take to a lonesome islandPaula: My board bag, bikinis and a sexy boyfriendKSWC Publishing-Team: Your greatest challenge…Paula: I think that I am still looking for my biggest challenge. I try hard to be my own hero.
KSWC Publishing-Team: Your job today, if sport wasn’t you profession?Paula: Since I love every kind of sports, I can’t think of any profession besides beeing an athlete. Before I decided to become a professional Kitesurfer, I did athletics. Who knows, maybe I would have become great as well in that field of sports.
KSWC Publishing-Team: What makes you special and differentiates you from other athletes?Paula: I believe every sportsmen and also every kitesurfer is unique in its own way. This is what brought us all to the world elite. Personally, my agressive and powerful style is what makes me different from the other girls. But I think that my friends and family that know me well and people who follow my career, are quite aware of what makes me unique.KSWC Publishing-Team: The secret of your success…Paula: I will definately not let you know about my biggest secrets on how to win the upcoming tournament :-) But generally it is important, to stay fit and do workouts apart from the sea. I often go to the gym to avoid serious injuries and to be strong and powerful to land after complicated stunts.KSWC Publishing-Team: Your personal highlight of the Pringles Kitesurf World Cup?Paula: The Pringles Kitesurf World Cup is one of my favourite events. I love the “german summer”. It is so different to the exotic and warm spots, where we normally go to. I like the people, the spectators and the general atmosphere of the event. It is a crucial factor that motivates us athletes and probably helps us to achieve high performance results.
KSWC Publishing-Team: Who is going to win the Pringles Kitesurf World Cup?Paula: Well of course I wish it will be me. But there are plenty of girls, that board very well. Let’s see what happens.
