No, this is not photoshopped! It really is a pink lagoon. Kitesurfer Kea Janssen travelled to this magical place and shared her impressions on this truly fascinating spectacle of nature. Just watch the photos below.The pink lagoon is neither an optical illusion, nor the artwork of some Photoshop genius. It really exists, is called Hutt Lagoon and is located in the Mid West of Australia. It‘s a salt lake that is full of algae that are called „Dunaliella salina“. Those produce carotenoid, and wenn occurring in great masses, they make the water look pink – Just like in the pink lagoon. Surfer Kea Janssen was kiting in the pink lagoon to promote her new surf wear collection and therefore took some amazing pictures. And we can say one thing for sure: These pictures look amazing!
