Fitness-Tracker: How good is the Garmin Vivofit 3 Update?
Update March 2026: This article has been editorially reviewed and updated with current information.
Last updated: March 2026
How worthwhile are fitness trackers? I have tested the Garmin Vivofit 3 and I have to say: a solid solution with seemingly endless stamina.
PRODUCT
Garmin builds on well-proven concepts which they further improved. In the latest generation of fitness trackers they again make use of an E-Ink-display with background lighting and it syncs as seamlessly as its predecessors to the Garmin app on your smartphone. A highlight: the smart wristband’s battery should last for an entire year and the tracker automatically recognizes if you’re on a bike or walking.
USAGE
Whether youre on a bike or jogging – the new fitness wristband identifies precisely your step count, distance and calorie consumption. So you’re always in the picture regarding your training efforts.
