STATEMENT

Riding downhill and reaching 85 km/h on a buggy with my kite in the air, was absolutely thrilling. Amazed how versatile kiting can be.

BEFORE

Please use protection – helmet, back / knee / elbow protectors Wear a waist harness on the mountain board and a seat harness in the buggy.

EXPERT EXPERIENCE

You can choose between grass and sand, not only a question about the grip. Grass spots tend to be gusty (field, mountain), you will experience more steady wind conditions on sandy spots (beach, desert).

CHALLENGE

TO STOP!

Seriously it is so different to what you’re used to on the water.

Best tip… learn how to drift properly.

IMPORTANT ADVICE
  • Choose your practice area wisely.
  • Get used to flying a kite on land, even if you are an experienced kite surfer. Always choose a smaller kite.
  • Before you start, practice the steering of the MTB or the buggy without having your kite in the air. Ask a friend if she/he can pull you.
