After finishing my own tennis career on the professional tour (ATP 453), it was my wish to stay in the sport that I’ve love since I was a little boy. Since 2012, I have been working as a tennis coach and have been privileged to coach several professionals, including the German top player Annika Beck (WTA 45) at the US Open 2014.
After my cooperation with Ulf Fischer and Gerald Mild at the European Tennis Base, I wanted to take on a new challenge as a coach. So I moved to Hamburg in 2016, where I became the headcoach of SV Blankenese.
My passion to inspire youngsters and to play tennis brought me and my brother Philip to the decision to found a joint company, the RISE GmbH (Ruckelshausen International Sports Education), for tennis events, tennis pro junior camps as well as tennis tournament trips.
