This is me
I’m a skipper and a helmsman at my club, which is very successful in the 1. Deutschen Segelbundesliga. Before I switched to the Bundesliga, I sailed in an Olympic boat class for many years. This was the most intensive time I have ever experienced and it has shaped my personality very much.
Being a yachtsman sailing the seven seas means being exposed to natural forces. Storms, heavy seas, cold, heat & rain. The feeling of reaching physical and mental limits is beyond all description. Those are moments where you really start living.
