ISPO 2017: These are the latest trends

More than 2.700 exhibitors presented their latest gadgets and products from various fields like outdoor sports, action, ski, health & fitness and sports fashion at the world’s largest fair for the sports business. The visitor record of more than 85.000 visitors made Munich a hotspot for the international sports sector in the past few days.

Focus: Women in sports business

 

This year, ISPO 2017 once again showed the relevance of gender marketing in the sports sector. “Rebellion against pink” is the motto – but it is not just about the color adaptation of the products.

 

The guiding principle also aims at a technical adaptation of features and gadgets to specific requirements for women. Furthermore, a special focus was placed on the central subject of “women in management positions” this year.

 

The Women’s Lounge, guided tours with the motto “Experts4Women” and the panel discussion on women as a target group were just some of the many highlights for women in the program.

Your Expert 

As usual, the ISPO-Award was conferred once again this year. With the mass of offers, this award serves the consumer as a point of reference for quality. Five products from various categories are selected by independent experts. This year’s winners are already set:

 

  • All-year all-round mountain boots
  • An innovative snowboard
  • 3D foot scanner for skiing boots
  • Comfortable running shoes
  • Intelligent dumbbells
