Walk over the water with the ”Mirage Eclipse”

NEWS

Anyone who has spend his past holiday near a lake or ocean, is probably quite familiar with this sight: surfers who stand upright on a board, with a paddle in their hands, sliding over the water – slowly and almost soundless. Experts call this new type of water sport “Stand-Up Paddling” or short “SUP”. Miracle Eclipse is now the latest innovation that expands this trend sport.

After it turned out that Stand-Up-Paddling is quite the thing to do and its popularity increased immensly, the american surf sport manufacturer Hobie just introduced a further development of the SUP-Board: the Mirage Eclipse.

This innovative sports device abandons the paddel completely but instead includes a drive technology, that reminds us of a pedal boat or a simple stepper in the gym. Furthermore it includes a kind of handlebar that makes it easy, especially for beginners, to keep one’s balance and to point the right direction.

There is just one problem: The price of nearly 2.500$ for a beginners board is quite an obstacle for this trendy innovation. However, if you make this investment you can easily walk over  water all summer. If you are interested in further details about this new sports device, you can either get more information on the companies homepage or watch the video below for further inspiration. Enjoy!
