Do good things against (your) cancer! This is the new message of the head and neckwear specialist BUFF® and the non-profit organization Outdoor against Cancer (OaC). They have once again joined forces: The common goal is to attract attention for the positive effects of sports and outdoor activities on cancer patients.

The founder of Outdoor against Cancer, Petra Thaller, was diagnosed with cancer in January 2015. As a passionate, well-trained athlete and mountaineer, she has experienced the positive effects of movement in fresh air during her chemotherapy. She continued to practice her favorite sport and was able to fight against side effects, such as Fatigue Syndrome, during and after therapy. She wants to help other patients with her knowledge, so the OaC offers free sports facilities to cancer patients and their families.

Even at the European Commission in Brussels, the journalist presented her heart project. She won Sweden, Italy, Cyprus and Austria as a partner. Under the direction of Outdoor against Cancer and the Technical University of Munich, they are working together to promote ERASMUS+ funding for two years. This is the first step to implement the idea in other European countries.

Petra Thaller and a Spanish accessory specialist designed a colorful OaC design. The motif: vertical lines, as in real life. A hose rupture and a two-ply cap. They can be used in a variety of sporting activities and in everyday life. When you buy one, ten euros are donated to Outdoor against Cancer.

STATEMENT

The cooperation comprises two cloth and cap models in the special OaC design. As in the past year, the proceeds will be used to finance sporting activities and excursions for cancer patients and their families. Do good things against cancer!
