Quality costs? Why the new Vice Golf models are the exception

Their products received international awards from Golf Digest Magazine in 2017, 2018 and 2019 in the USA and also achieved great success in Europe. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about their latest models Vice PRO, PRO SOFT and PRO PLUS.
At the beginning of the year, the two CEOs were already awarded with three gold medals from the Golf Digest Hotlist. But it’s not easy to develop prototypes: many hours of hard work, robot tests and several test manoeuvres on golf courses have gone into it. The goal of Ingo Düllmann and Rainer Stöckl is to ensure continuous quality improvement and to adapt to the trend of the athletic golfer.
What makes the new models interesting
The durability of the outer layer of the golf balls was mainly revised. Vice Golf’s intention was to improve the durability and playability of the balls while maintaining the right feeling while playing the ball. The Vice PRO PLUS was more clearly separated from the Vice PRO and Vice PRO SOFT and optimally adapted for long hitters. With a total compression increase from 85 to 95, the ball now has a swing speed of 110mph and faster. It is particularly characterized by its grippy, soft playing sensation.
The Vice PRO on the other hand is suitable for medium swing speeds of 95 – 110mph. Despite an amazing flight range, it still acts with a lot of spin.
The Vice PRO SOFT is very similar to the model of the Vice PRO. Nevertheless, the Vice PRO SOFT is only suitable for golfers who play with a medium to low swing speed. It is available in white, neon lime or neon red.
Upcoming events this year
For the first time Vice Golf presents limited cap and ball editions for all majors this year. New products such as the Cartbag Vice PRIDE and the Vice SHELL Travelcover will also be presented, which will be available in black and neon lime. In addition, a surprise project will be launched on which the Vice Golf founders do not yet want to comment. However, one thing remains the same. The original and also future motto of the golf article manufacturer is: Highest quality requirements combined with a cool, functional style.
