Norway – Skiing and snowboarding in Myrkdalen
Close to the ski resort Voss you will find the ski resort Myrkdalen. Small but excellent and with ski trails including easier blue slopes but also the harder black slopes.
Extensive, accessible areas between the slopes offer best conditions, to go off-piste skiing. The landscape the lighting especially during winter in the northern hemisphere are overwhelming.

JOURNEY
There is a daily shuttle going from Voss to Myrkdalen. It is free of charge and drives back and forth.
ACCOMMODATION
In Myrkdalen you have the possibility to stay in so called “cabins”. These cottages – often with a private slope access – are well-furnished and groups can rent them for a reasonable price. However, the local hotel is also a great option as it is quite cheap and located right next to the ski lift station.
ALTERNATIVES
Apart from snow sports events is Myrkdalen a rather calm village. In the evening you can do either cross-country skiing or enjoy a cosy evening in one of the surrounding ski lodges. For other activities is is recommendable to drive to Voss. Here you have the possibility to do stand up paddling at one of the local Fjord or indoor skydiving. Great alternatives that make your vacation a true highlight!
