LEVEL: BEGINNER

At the Indoor Skydiving arena you have the ultimate opportunity to practise the free-flight phase of a skydive in an artificial wind channel. Like in a real skydive you face an air current having a speed of approximately 180 km/h. One floats in the air so to speak and you can test which movements impact the body and the jump to what extent during the dive. And of course, it is great entertainment!

STATEMENT

A short and intense experience that is much fun! However, not suitable for permanent entertainment. Then you should rather try a real jump off the plane or helicopter. Have fun!

BEFORE

Use the advices of a trainer before you enter the wind channel. It can help a lot and makes your flight feeling a great memory.

EXPERT EXPERIENCE

Everything seems to be quite easy during the prior instructions and dry runs. As soon as you enter the wind channel, you must relax and let go of everything. Only as soon as your body is fully laid-back, you can influence the rotation and direction with tiny movements. Very impressive!

CHALLENGE

Already small movements make a big difference. Simply the tendency of your head can make a difference of 2-3 metres flighthight. Translated into the real skydive: you reduce/elevate the speed of your flight.

IMPORTANT ADVICE
  • If you stretch your legs, you move forward. If you bend them, you move backwards.
  • The mechanism works the other way the round when it comes to the arms. Stretch one arm and your body will start to rotate.
