Mercedes-Benz recently announced its cooperation with the Canadian high-end bike manufacturer Argon 18. Both companies share the same company philosophy: leadership in innovative technology and a unique user experience.

About Argon 18

Argon 18 bicycles are developed and designed in Montreal, Canada. Founded in 1989, the Argon 18 bikes are the idea of the Canadian Olympian and triple national champion, Gervais Rioux – one of North America’s most successful racers. Ingenious, inventive and strikingly different, Argon 18 bikes are built around the cyclist, with handling, aerodynamics and human performance at the heart of the design.

The first model to be launched in autumn 2018 is an Endurance Bike for the road. Mercedes-Benz style quickly becomes clear to the exclusive appearance with silver-coloured frame and silver-black colour gradient on the saddle and understays. The fork has a special shape, so the balance can be optimized.

With all weathers

„The bicycle combines perfectly with our design philosophy of sensual clarity. The sensitively designed carbon frame in conjunction with the typical Mercedes-Benz colouring conveys dynamism even when stationary and ensures an emotional approach. Perfectly integrated technical components and functions stand for the high competence of our new partner”, Martin Bremer, Head of Design Creation Brand Experience.

The new Mercedes-Benz Style Endurance Bike is available in two component options: Ultegra Di2 with electronic transmission with FSA Trimax 40 carbon wheels and Ultegra Group with Trimax 30 wheels. The Ultegra Di2 has an integrated battery. Both variants can be purchased individually in six different sizes. High-tech hydraulic brakes are standard on both optional models.
