New Golftrend 2017: Biking on the golf course?

/NEWS

Men in tights on the golf course are so 2016. New year, new trends! Faster, fitter, more efficient – those are our general New Year’s Resolutions. But why shouldn’t they apply to the golf world just as well? Let us introduce to you: The Golf Bike!

At the PGA Show, the biggest golf fair worldwide, taking place once a year in Orlando, Florida, thousands of golf-enthusiasts from all over the world encounter around 1.000 international exhibitors. Famous golf brands show their latest collections, tech brands from all over the globe present the newest gadgets and even newcomers are able to introduce their companies in the “New Exhibitor Discovery Zone“.

This time, there was one product that especially caught our eye: The Golf Bike. It’s is an ordinary bike, with big wheels, adapted to the rough grounds on the golf course and a baggage rack/golf bag combination, designed to be a real alternative to the classic golf cart, promising to turn a casual afternoon at the rank into an extremely fat burning fitness workout.

The trend was well accepted by all the golfers at the fair. The bike can be used as an alternative for a normal golf cart and is a real winner when it comes to stability, as the integrated golf bag balances it out quite well.

The founders of its company promise a fat burn of around 2.000 calories on an 18-hole-round, taking you a quick three hours to finish it. Fast, fit, and efficient, as we said already! The bikes are already used in around 40 golf resorts around Canada and the USA, are accepted just like normal golf carts and meet wide interest.
