Comfortably Numb: Mick Fanning and Mason Ho looking for the best surf-spot

NEWS

After a 10 year break, Rip Curl has finally published a new surfer movie. With #TheSearch, they are looking for the perfect surf spots.

The surf legends Mick Fanning and Mason Ho conducted an impressive experiment: They went to Alaska to perform really cool surf moves in the ice cold water, surrounded by gigantic icebergs.

A camera team accompanied them during their adventure trip. They filmed some amazing and fascinating nature sceneries that were now published in their movie. “Comfortably Numb” is the series called that belongs to the well-known surf campaign #TheSearch, that is produced by RipCurl since 1992.

The australian surf pro Mick Fanning, who survived a shark attack during a surfing session last year, describes this adventure as the greatest experience in his life. “A few times I was just overwhelmed with emotions. I sometimes stood still and admired the nature.”
