The Lunas are real performance sandals. They are modeled like the Huarache sandals of Tarahumara. The passionate barefoot runner Ted McDonald attended (by the way , together with the “Born to Run” author Chris McDougall) this Mexican runner people in 2006, and was so impressed by the traditional footwear that he returned to his native Seattle itself in production , Since then these sandals are made there by hand. The product stands for performance and durability.
The Lunas I use for runs (up to the light trail) and the moving everyday.
The LUNA is the perfect sandal for all fans of a Barefoot – running style aka Natural Running. They create the perfect jump between minimalism and technical support.
The sophisticated lacing system can be customized and ensures a perfect fit – unlike many other providers . depending on the application – also an additional “Strap”, which ensures this can also be installed quickly and unkomplizerit per Kelttverschluss.
The non-slip sole is available in different “strengths” , depending on how much – or rather how little – cushioning and protection you want to have. Over time, the Luna – soles fits and shapes itself around your foot – much like the couch to Homer Simpson all value Estonians.
There are athletes who took the 100 miles Western States-run in LUNA’s ( Patrick Sweeney ), who finished the Marathon des Sables in LUNA by the Moroccan desert (Leslie Slater) and who ran the entire Pacific Crest Trail with over 4.500km (Jess Soco). Even as a hobby runner I would not to take any of these challanges be without this quality!
