At the place where my friends and me in 2001 teached us how to kitesurf, this year the 10th Kitesurf World Cup takes place in St. Peter Ording. Here the best international and national kitesurfers compete at the biggest kitesurf event worldwide that occurs at one of the most beautiful beaches here in Germany.
On a challenging spot the world elite of kitesurfing is fighting in various spectacular contests for prize money and important world ranking points .
Everyone who has not live experienced the atmosphere of this event, has missed something – whether kitesurfer or simply as InspiredBySports .
YOUR EXPERT
STATEMENT
I’ve been 10 years at this event, sometimes more, sometimes less. The development is fantastic, a credit to the hosts and organizers. But in recent years, missing the innovation and the same players dominate the picture. That’s not bad, but needs to change in the long term , so that sport can continue to grow.
PROGRAM

- Test area with new 2016 kitestuff of many brands
- Discoboys, Beignner Soundsystem and more
NICE TO KNOW
If you are kitesurfer then the place is very crowded directly in the test area . But St. Peter Ording has a lot of space for all who are willing to walk a little . – But the trip is worth it . Direction lighthouse has great creeks and also in south and Böhl there is more space . For the flexible of you, try the north beach!
