Smartwatches that combine design and technology – this is possible now through the collaboration of HP with the brands of the Mavado Group. Customers can now look forward to buy watches from Hugo Boss, Ferrari, Tommy Hilfiger and Co. with digital functions. And the best news is: starting from 7th of November, you can buy the Hugo Boss and Ferrari Smartwatches in Germany. 

HP’s Engineered by HP SmartPlatform supports fashion brands to digitize their watches – but to keep their design beautiful and aesthetical. Customers can therefore take advantage of a smartwatch without changing their personal style. HP provides the technology, hardware and software that seamlessly integrates with the traditional design elements of the watch brand.

In addition to traditional timekeeping, each watch features various additional functions via hidden OLED displays, LED patterns, vibration speech and smartphone apps. The carriers receive, for example, instant smartphone notifications of incoming calls, text messages, emails, social media updates and calendar reminders. It is also possible to individually decide which notifications the customers want to keep on their wrist.

The smartwatches are supported by iOS and Android smartphones, are waterproof and offer a battery life of up to five days. The analogue clock function is operated with a separate battery – thus it also works even in the case that the digital battery should be empty once.

In addition, HP has developed an app that allows users to configure the watch and connect it to the cloud.
