Great triumph after a memorable performance for the german golf legend Stephan Jäger at the Web.com tour
NEWS
The german golf legend Stephan Jaeger made it on the first place after a memorable performance. With 30 under par, the german golf pro set a new record at the championship in California.
It was a breathtaking happening. With only 250 strokes and with therefore 30 under par, the 27 year old guy from Munich set a new record. Jaeger himself is still bowled over and can’t really grasp what happened.”I really don’t know what to say. I am simply speechless. The last days were just incredibly amazing.”
With his final score, Jaeger set another record: in the first round he finished with a 58 score, what no other pro has yet ever achieved. Neither on the Web.com tour nor on the PGA. The other rounds scored a 65, 64 and a 63.
The german pro did not only win the price money of 108.000 $ but also climbed up the world rank list from rank 102 to the position of 20. As one of the best 25 player, he can hope for a ticket for the PGA tour. We are certain that he will achieve his goal, if he performs likewise superiorly during the remaining 4 tournaments of this season.
