Great INK4AID donation marathon at FlyStation Munich
The FlyStation Munich invited on 20. 01. 2019 to the first INK4AID donation marathon. With a lot of fun in the wind tunnel of the FlyStation and many donors, the donation campaign was a great success. We, the IBS Publishing team, also supported this great fundraising campaign with a large lottery pot..
“Every tattoo helps”
INK4AID organizes very special tattoo events: those where “every tattoo helps”. According to this motto, volunteers can get small tattoos or piercings for a price of 35€ and automatically donate five euros to a charitable organization in the area.
Two important aid organisations
Each guest of the event in the FlyStation Munich Wind Tunnel Experience Hall was able to decide which charitable organisation would receive the donation. There were the two organisations to choose from in this fundraising campaign: the Lebenshilfe Freising e.V., a parents – and self-help association, which supports humans with handicap in all age groups, and the Tierschutzverein Freising e.V., which takes care about the well-being of our little fourlegged friends from the region.
In addition, we were on site with our team and contributed to the INK4AID donation marathon with a lottery action. At the time of the prize draw, around 200 lots were sold and attractive prizes, such as a brand new action smartphone CROSSCALL TREKKER-X4, were presented to the lucky winners.
On the day of the event, FlyStation Munich itself also offered discounts for tunnel flight minutes and donated part of its income to both aid organisations.
Impressive show of the wind tunnel professionals
On this Sunday one could not only climb into the spectacular wind tunnel oneself and enjoy a few flight minutes at approximately 200 km/h. You could also observe the professionals at work. Some wind tunnel pro flyers showed their skills at this event and left the guests astonished.

Statement
For us, the team of InSpiredBySports, this donation marathon came just right. Because apart from the charitable purpose, the sporting factor was not neglected in the glass wind tunnel.
