With spear throwing and jumping over fire, the Spartan Race is a very special Obstacle Course Racing. This weekend the event takes place the third time this year in Oberndorf, Germany.

If a simple race is not enough for you, but you want to push yourself to the limit, the Spartan Race is your sport-event. Here you do not comfortably run your distances, but master various obstacles on your way. On September 9th and 10th, the adventurous event from the USA takes place the third time in Oberndorf, Germany.

Everyone can become a Spartan here: Whether you are a beginner or a top athlete, the event offers various challenges and differentiates between sprint (5km and 15 obstacles), super (13+ km and 20+ obstacles) and beast (20+ km and 25+ obstacles). In case this is not enough for you, you can also prove your physical and mental strength in various endurance events.

Whether pulling weights or conquering walls. There are always certain rules that must be followed. Judges will evaluate your obstacle course and measure the time you need to finish it. Thus you can compare with athletes worldwide.

STATEMENT

One thing is for sure: While you are crawling under barbed wire or pulling yourself up on a muddy 5m rope, you feel like a real Spartan!
