Son \u00e9quipe, au National Institute of Fitness and Sports de Kagoshima (Japon), divisa des patineurs de vitesse olympiques en deux groupes.<\/p>\n<p>Le groupe 1 s&rsquo;entra\u00eenait 60 minutes \u00e0 70 % de sa VO2max. Il s&rsquo;agissait d&rsquo;un entra\u00eenement d&rsquo;endurance classique, cinq fois par semaine. Le groupe 2 s&rsquo;entra\u00eenait 4 minutes \u00e0 170 % de sa VO2max : 20 secondes \u00e0 fond sur un v\u00e9lo ergom\u00e8tre, 10 secondes de pause, 8 s\u00e9ries. Quatre fois par semaine, plus une s\u00e9ance mod\u00e9r\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s 6 semaines : le groupe 1 am\u00e9liora sa VO2max de 10 %. Sa capacit\u00e9 ana\u00e9robie resta inchang\u00e9e. Le groupe 2 am\u00e9liora sa VO2max de 14 % ET augmenta sa capacit\u00e9 ana\u00e9robie de 28 %. Quatre minutes ont surpass\u00e9 une heure. Travailler \u00e0 170 % de la VO2max signifie que vous d\u00e9passez largement le seuil au-del\u00e0 duquel votre organisme peut utiliser l&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne de fa\u00e7on efficace. Cela contraint simultan\u00e9ment les deux syst\u00e8mes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques \u00e0 entrer en action.<\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me a\u00e9robie (bas\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne) s&rsquo;am\u00e9liore, car il est sollicit\u00e9 au maximum pendant les pauses de 10 secondes afin de compenser le d\u00e9ficit d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne. Entre deux blocs, pr\u00e9voyez une pause d&rsquo;une minute si vous encha\u00eenez plusieurs s\u00e9ries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Fondamentaux au poids du corps (HIIT pour d\u00e9butants).<\/strong> Ce n&rsquo;est pas encore un vrai Tabata, mais c&rsquo;est le point d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e id\u00e9al. 8 s\u00e9ries de squats au poids du corps \u00e0 80 % de l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 maximale. Objectif : conserver une technique impeccable malgr\u00e9 la fatigue. Si vous r\u00e9ussissez les 8 s\u00e9ries sans compromettre votre forme, vous \u00eates pr\u00eat pour le niveau 2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Tabata burpees (niveau avanc\u00e9).<\/strong> 8 s\u00e9ries de burpees \u00e0 vitesse maximale. Le Tabata le plus exigeant au poids du corps. Si vous parvenez \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser des burpees impeccables aux s\u00e9ries 7 et 8, vous \u00eates plus en forme que 95 % des personnes fr\u00e9quentant les salles de sport.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Tabata multi-mouvements (4 blocs).<\/strong> Bloc 1 : mountain climbers. Bloc 2 : jump squats. Bloc 3 : push-up burpees. Bloc 4 : high knees. Chaque bloc compte 8 s\u00e9ries, avec une pause d&rsquo;une minute entre les blocs. Dur\u00e9e totale : 20 minutes. C&rsquo;est le maximum. Plus de 4 blocs \u00e0 intensit\u00e9 Tabata r\u00e9elle n&rsquo;est physiologiquement pas soutenable.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background:#F7F9E4;border:1px solid #eef0d8;border-radius:8px;padding:16px 20px;margin:24px 0;\">\n<strong>Important :<\/strong> Un vrai Tabata \u00e0 170 % de la VO2max est extr\u00eamement exigeant. Pr\u00e9requis : au moins 3 mois d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement r\u00e9gulier. En cas de pathologie cardiovasculaire, d&rsquo;hypertension art\u00e9rielle ou de probl\u00e8mes articulaires, consultez un m\u00e9decin avant de commencer. D\u00e9butez avec le bloc \u00ab Fondamentaux au poids du corps \u00bb et progressez progressivement sur plusieurs semaines.\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height:1.5;\">Les erreurs les plus fr\u00e9quentes<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Erreur 1 : Ne pas aller assez fort.<\/strong> Si vous souriez encore \u00e0 la s\u00e9rie 8, ce n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas du Tabata. Le protocole original est con\u00e7u de sorte que les sujets ne puissent plus continuer \u00e0 la s\u00e9rie 7 ou 8. Si vous terminez toutes les s\u00e9ries sans effort, augmentez l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 ou choisissez un exercice plus difficile.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erreur 2 : S&rsquo;entra\u00eener trop souvent.<\/strong> Un vrai Tabata ne doit \u00eatre pratiqu\u00e9 que 2 \u00e0 3 fois par semaine au maximum. Le syst\u00e8me nerveux central n\u00e9cessite 48 heures de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inspiredbysports.com\/fr\/entrainement-de-recuperation-pourquoi-la-regeneration-est-la-partie-la-plus-impo\/\">r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration<\/a> apr\u00e8s une sollicitation maximale. Plus fr\u00e9quent, cela devient contre-productif : surentra\u00eenement, baisse des performances, risque accru de blessure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erreur 3 : Mauvais choix d&rsquo;exercices.<\/strong> Le Tabata fonctionne avec des exercices sollicitant l&rsquo;ensemble du corps et des mouvements balistiques. Les curls biceps ou les crunchs ne sont pas des exercices Tabata. Le mouvement doit activer suffisamment de groupes musculaires pour permettre d&rsquo;atteindre l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 requise de 170 % de la VO2max.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erreur 4 : Utiliser \u00ab Tabata \u00bb comme \u00e9tiquette pour tout HIIT.<\/strong> De nombreux clubs de fitness baptisent \u00ab Tabata \u00bb leurs cours d&rsquo;intervalle de 30 minutes. Il s&rsquo;agit alors de marketing, non de science. Un vrai Tabata est un protocole pr\u00e9cis : 20\/10, 8 s\u00e9ries, intensit\u00e9 maximale. Tout le reste est du HIIT, mais pas du Tabata.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height:1.5;\">Tabata contre l&rsquo;entra\u00eenement d&rsquo;endurance <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inspiredbysports.com\/fr\/remise-en-forme-du-printemps-2026-comment-bien-demarrer-la-nouvelle-saison-sport\/\">classique<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>La question n&rsquo;est pas \u00ab soit l&rsquo;un, soit l&rsquo;autre \u00bb. Le Tabata et l&rsquo;entra\u00eenement d&rsquo;endurance mod\u00e9r\u00e9 sollicitent des syst\u00e8mes diff\u00e9rents. Le Tabata am\u00e9liore la seuil ana\u00e9robie, la force explosive et la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 supporter des intensit\u00e9s \u00e9lev\u00e9es. L&rsquo;entra\u00eenement d&rsquo;endurance mod\u00e9r\u00e9 d\u00e9veloppe l&rsquo;endurance de base, la combustion des graisses \u00e0 faible intensit\u00e9 et la capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<p>Le plan d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement optimal associe les deux approches : 2 \u00e0 3 s\u00e9ances d&rsquo;endurance mod\u00e9r\u00e9e par semaine, compl\u00e9t\u00e9es par 2 s\u00e9ances Tabata. Vous am\u00e9liorez ainsi les deux syst\u00e8mes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques sans risquer le surentra\u00eenement.
