Fitness with a view to the boundless ocean – this view is hard to find in hotels. But on a cruise you can enjoy it every day! For example, in the sports and outdoor area of the “Carnival Horizon”. The Carnival Horizon is a cruise ship of the company Carnival Cruise Line and was on maiden voyage in April 2018. Since then the Horizon has traveled to several cities and oceans. The Carnival ships do have mostly routes in the Caribbean – perfect for a holiday in the sun.

The large sports and outdoor area is located on the 12th Deck and is thus almost at the top. Around the whole deck is a jogging route with a length of 1.6km. In the middle of the route you will find various fitness equipment, as well as a basketball and volleyball court where daily tournaments are organized. Directly above your heads there is a big high ropes course. Here you can measure your skills and your power. For even more action, the Sky Ride is the perfect choice. A kind of roller coaster that leads over the sea around the deck.

For those who like it more classic, there is also a normal gym available. Here are also offered daily different courses. Best of all, almost everything is included at Carnival!

On the Carnival Horizon there are also several pools of different size and depth. Some of them are for families and children, others for adults only. Perfect for cooling off after the sports program.

After the sport it’s time for a snack. The 14 restaurants on the ship leave nothing to be desired and there are even special “healthy options” for those who attach importance to healthy food.

So even on the ocean you can continue your sports program or discover new sports. With such a great offer the holidays will not be boring.
