From April 12th to 15th, exhibitors at fitness fair FIBO 2018 in Cologne will be showing new ways of motivating gym members. Whether regarding their individual media use during training or open interfaces for comprehensive customer support, the major equipment providers place a clear emphasis on smart solutions for gyms.
Entertainment is a major issue this year. High intensity interval training (HIIT), functional training and boutique concepts are still important topics in the fitness market. FIBO 2018 shows studio operators which investments are worthwhile. This is not only about the premieres in the market, but also about an evaluation of the existing. Fitness goes digital
Experts agree: the fitness industry is becoming increasingly digital. Gym operators are in charge now and need to take actions. More and more fitness fans take digital applications for granted. These are the new device trends for 2018
Numerous strength and cardio machines will be presented at this years FIBO, which will provide additional motivation and more efficiency in training. An example is the S-Force Performance Trainer by Johnson Health Tech. The device functions both as a stand-alone solution when it comes to cardio and as a highlight for HIIT, group and athletics training. Another exciting upcoming device are new power bikes with reliable watt measurement by Core Health & Fitness.
