Is Felix Baumgartner planning his second Stratos jump?
NEWS

Felix Baumgartner started a countdown with the „Red Bull Stratos“-team on Facebook. Will he repeat his record-jump?
He posted the „countdown is on!“ picture on Facebook, which was made just before his stratosphere jump in 2012. So the question is: Does he repeat his record-jump? Or was this picture posted just beause of the anniversary of the jump? Baumgartner’s fans share different opinions.
On October 14th, 2012 Felix Baumgartner did his jump from 38.969,4m altitude. During the free fall he reached a speed of 1.357,6 km/h. Thereby he was the first human, wo made it possible to pass the velocity of sound within the free fall. The parachute slowed him after four minutes and twenty seconds in an altitude of 1.585m. His jump got him several records of which a few are still unbroken.
At least, his promise to completely retreat from extreme sports did not turn out to be true either. Just last weekend, he jumped out of a Zeppelin, as you can see here. We are really curious about it…
Although Baumgartner announced his retreat from extrem-sports after his spectacular jump, we are excited if he will surprise us with a new jump. In the meantime we can experience once again the record-jump from 2012 in the video below.
