    350 yards cover most approach shots and tee shots. Anyone who regularly needs longer measurements is already in a different equipment segment anyway. The figure is generous for recreational and club players.<\/p>\n

    Intelligence criterion: PlaysLike and Dynamic Distance<\/h2>\n

    PlaysLike shows in the viewfinder how far the shot actually plays due to elevation change. Dynamic Distance keeps the synced distance on the paired device up to date as you approach the target. You don\u2019t need to re\u2011measure before every shot if you stay within the Garmin ecosystem.<\/p>\n

    Range Relay turns this into the real USP: the laser number lands on the watch or in the app. The front and back of the green as well as a laser arc show what\u2019s in play. This saves switching between pure laser optics and the GPS map.<\/p>\n

    Tournament Mode with an external light signals to fellow players that slope\u2011related extras are switched off. The magnetic mount keeps the device on the cart. Find My Rangefinder shows the last known position in the app if the unit disappears in the rough. Up to a year of battery life means less charging hassle than with USB\u2011C gadgets.<\/p>\n

    Garmin describes the housing as smaller and lighter than most smartphones, under seven ounces. In the pocket it\u2019s less obtrusive than older laser boxes. For walkers without a cart it\u2019s still an extra item alongside balls and rangefinder alternatives on the watch.<\/p>\n

    Price and Ecosystem: 299,99 Euro with Garmin Logic<\/h2>\n

    The German MSRP is 299,99 Euro. That’s mid-range laser pricing with premium coupling. The added value increases if you already have a compatible Garmin golf watch or the app setup. Then a single measurement becomes a system: laser precision plus map and green context.<\/p>\n

    Garmin optionally promotes the golf membership for Green Contours and Aerials. That’s an extra and ongoing additional cost \u2013 not mandatory for the laser measurement itself. The US launch mentioned a separate monthly or yearly subscription; always check German terms and prices in the shop and never sell them as included in the device price.
