Excellent gelato, drinking coffee in the sun and beautiful places. That’s what Italy is known for, and these are all good reasons to visit the country. For all people who appreciate this but also don’t want to miss out some adventures, Lake Como is the place to be!<\/strong>For those who don’t know me: I’m Sophie Radcliffe –\u00a0endurance athlete, adventurer and blogger. When traveling, I attache importance to both: food and adventurous opportunities. As I\u00a0had the pleasure to stay at Lake Como for a couple of days, I now know\u00a0where to go and what to do when visiting this beautiful place in the northern part of Italy – and of course, I want to share my experiences with you. What came as a surprise for me, were the multiple sportive activities you can do at Lake Como. One of the best ways to explore the lake is by kayaking. Doing this, you can enjoy a stunning view on snow-capped mountains. When talking about mountains: Madonna del Ghisallo is Italy\u2019s most famous climb. If you’re interested, Como Lago Bike offers guided cycling tours where you can climb up the mountain and cycle down in high speed. Who is active all day should also know when it’s time to take a break and relax. Gelato is a must and so is the restaurant Trattoria Baita Belvedere.
