A study by Sony has compiled the 30 most photographed sights of the world. The Eiffel Tower, the Alhambra, the Colloseum, the Burj Khalifa, the Big Ben and many other breathtaking, but already well known sights were now revived\u00a0by new perspectives on Instagram.\u00a0<\/strong>Sony put the 30 most popular sights in an all new light –\u00a0thanks to the Hashtag #NewPerspectives! A study demonstrated that the top 30 sights on Instagram are always photographed from the same three perspectives. But more than half of the interviewees said that they like a picture more when it opens up a new angle of view.<\/strong> In the course of the study, Sony Mobile has sent three excellent travel photographers from around the world with an Xperia XZ to visit a few important sights and capture them from new perspectives. Thus, impressive snapshots, for example night photos of the Big Ben or special pictures of the crowd around the Eiffel Tower arose. “The study has shown how important photography is. Especially for the people on holiday. And that these two elements are inextricably linked!” said Susanne Burgdorf, press officer in Germany, Sony Mobile.<\/p>\n

We want to inspire the new generation to discover unknown perspectives on their tours and to share their holidays in a variety of ways. Scott Gray, CEO of the World Photography Organization, also comments on the study and the images of the Xperia XZ: “The field of photography has changed dramatically over the past ten years, and this is ultimately due to the accessibility and quality of cameras. Access to photography has become even simpler with smartphones and the technologies in their cameras and encourages the creativity of photographers when capturing spontaneous moments.” <\/p>\n
