After the Kitesurf World Cup successfully took place in Fehmarn for the first time back in 2016, it is finally official now: Next year, the event will once again lure the world\u2019s best kiters as well as enthusiastic spectators to the Baltic Sea. Get your calendars ready, because this event is a must for all kite fans!<\/strong>The world’s largest kitesurfing event will be held from the 18th to the 27th of August back in 2017<\/strong> Like this year, the world stars from the kitesurfer scene will again compete against each other in the categories Freestyle, Slalom and also Foil. Not only the pros, but any surfer can head back into the water with their kite. The Kitelife Village will find its place once more at the South Beach back in 2017, while the Testival site will be located again at the Gr\u00fcnbrink (about 15 minutes away by car). In addition, the event campground will be located directly next to the event grounds.<\/p>\n

Important:<\/strong> Next year, sale of the week tickets will begin several weeks ahead of the event. This allows the working visitors and fans among you to benefit from the short distances to the daily action on the beach. If you want to stay on the spot but do not want to miss a bricked accommodation, simply ask the Tourist Service Fehmarn for further information at 04371 \/ 506 333. Matthias Neumann, managing director of the acting agency Act Agency from Hamburg, is happy with the event: “We are more than satisfied with the debut of the event on Fehmarn. We were welcomed with open arms from all sides. The format of the event fits perfectly to the water sports island Fehmarn and immediately inspired the masses. We look forward to seeing you again next year “. We are also looking forward to the next Kitesurf World Cup and hope that we will be able to beat the already impressive numbers of 10.000 visitors and 125 competitors we reached back in 2016.<\/p>\n
