There were some great events on the World Kiteboarding League (WKL) Tour\u00a0and\u00a0the biggest kite event worldwide back in 2016 in Fehmarn is\u00a0definitely\u00a0putting the icing on the cake! You can be there too, just make sure to check out the livestream presented by Mercedes-Benz right here at the top of this page!<\/strong>Since my starting days in this sport, i have never felt more excitement and adrenaline at a contest on the big stage. My back to back world titles, after my comeback with my\u00a0knee injury back in 2011, sparked the feeling even more. Looking back at all the great times I had at any Kitesurf World Cup in Germany gives me goosebumps to be honest and with the contest being at Fehmarn this year for the first time, the expectations are set to be high. And I am not just talking about my own expectations here, but also all the other riders are stoked\u00a0to get into the water! Leaving the sport aspect aside for a moment, the whole event just brings you a lot closer to the kite-community in general. Great people, good vibes, amazing side acts and loads\u00a0of fun are just a few cool facts about the Pringles Kitesurf World Cup 2016. Can\u00b4t be there yourself? Sure you can! Tune in and stream it from any place on earth to be right there in the middle of all the action! Pay attention when a heat is going on, I might give you a high five after a good run!<\/p>\n

The Pringles Kitesurf World Cup starts on the 26th of August and ends on the 4th of September at S\u00fcdstrand located on the german island Fehmarn. This will be the first event at the location in the Baltic Sea and simultaneously the largest kite event in the world for 2016. With the newly founded WKL (World Kiteboarding League) it is tour stop no. 2 with two more stops to come.
