How the weekend went and how Nadine stood all her tricks despite her ongoing back problems, she is going to tell you here! <\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>ABOUT<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The German wakeboard championship took place from the 28th until the 31st of July in the high north at the Cable Norderstedt. After an almost never ending ride from Munich to Hamburg, I was able to do a couple of rounds on the lift that night. The official practice ultimately started on Friday and was a complete catastrophe with too many people, tons of waves and someone right in front of you pulling the lift at all times&#8230;Luckily all of the riders decided to form groups, hence every category was able to use the lift alone for a certain time period. I was very happy that I had already been at the location for O\u2019neill at the Brand Experience Day and therefore knew the lift and obstacles. All the ladies had a training together, which was super relaxed. Sadly, I had been struggling with back problems for a couple of weeks, and had to hold myself back a lot during the practice. After memorizing my run, I tried out the individual elements a couple of times and after an hour everything was fine and I gave my back a break. Saturday was competition day and our master ladies crew had their qualification as well as the final in the evening &#8211; all on the same day. It was perfect, because that way we could get everything done in one day and enjoy the After Contest Party. And there was a lot to celebrate&#8230; for me the DM was an absolute highlight and my\u00a0dream of winning the title of the German Champion finally came true. After my first run in the final I could already put myself in the pole position. The second run started in the opposite direction and I could relax a little bit, watch the other girls compete and cheer them on. It was awesome, how all the girls celebrated together and supported each other, reveling every successful trick. As it became clear, that no one could dispute my victory, I decided to try something new &#8211; regardless of my back pain. Against all expectations, I was able to stand the new trick, \u201cthe Blinde Judge\u201d at the cable and got\u00a0through my run very nicely. I was unbelievably happy walking back from the land to the start line, not only because of the title, but also because of the successful new trick. I was also very fortunate for Tina Fr\u00f6mling, who came in second and Katharina Opitz, who came in third. Both of them did great! Overall we were an awesome girls crew, were able to gain some contest experience and spent a\u00a0marvelous\u00a0time together.\u00a0 On Sunday we cheered on the rest of the categories, especially the \u201copen men\u201d.
