Best of 2016: What has happened in the world of kitesurfing
NEWS
A stormy year has come to an end and we’re taking the opportunity to take a look back at all our favorite kitesurfing-moments in 2016. Right before the Pringles World Cup we interviewed Pro Mario Rodwald for some tipps, got some preparation advice from surfer girl Jana Schader and to top this off, our very own Pringles Kitesurf Worldcup became a part of the recently founded “World Kiteboarding League”. But take a look yourself!

The best advice for everything Kitesurf World Cup came from Mario Rodwald:
What does Mario think about the new World Cup spot Fehmarn and how does he prepare for big competitions like this? Being an actual child of the Baltic, the expert and pro athlete gave us some amazing insider advice on the right preparation, accomodations around the World Cup and much more. During the interview he also told us everything about his comeback this close to home.
Surfer girl Jana Schader gave some great tipps on the right preparation for competitions despite all health issues:
Just a couple of weeks before the Kitesurf World Cup kitepro Jana Schader suffered from a severe drumhead injury. Why an incident like this doesn’t have to necessarily end a season and how to come back in the best way is all part of the interview. A discussion about alternative practice methods outside the water and all her personal preparation spot favorites.
Everything that’s new in the kitesurf world: The Kitesurf World Cup as a part of the newly founded “World Kiteboarding League”
“Let’s have a tour with only winners“ – That’s the motto of the newly founded “World Kiteboarding League“, and the Pringles Kitesurf Worldcup is now officially a part of it! What the “WKL” actually is and what it’s all about, besides fun, responsibility towards nature and a familiar atmosphere in and out of the water is all summed up in our article.
