Turning a climbing wall into a video game is the percet way to combine sport and gaming. A new technology from finland offers this bouldering wall for gamer.
Take an standard bouldering wall and transformed it into an interactive playing ground with a special technology at which a video projector displays the videos to the bouldering wall. An integrated computer evaluates the dates of the touchscreen and the camera so that it’s clearly where the gamer is.
The climber can choose different games, so as single or multiplayer game for example playing with a ball together or touching dots in order as fast as possible. The games are varied enough that it’s playble for climbers of al sizes and skill level.
The climbing walls are for now only available in finland but we hope to get them soon in our climbing areas or gyms.
STATEMENT
This new art of bouldering is a great possibility to challange your friends, to proof your skills or simple just for fun. In addition it’s the perfect solution to animate gamer to sport.
