All about the Team European Athletics Championships 2019
The next Team Athletics European Championships is fixed. It will take place in 2019 in Bydgoszcz, Poland from 9-11 August, one week after the German Championships in Berlin. Find out everything about the Team European Championships here.
The European Athletics Team Championship
The European Athletics Team Championships is a national competition that has been held since 2009 as the successor of the European Cup in Athletics. The first edition of the Super League took place on June 20 and 21, 2009 in Leiria, Portugal.
The Team-EM is divided into 4 leagues: the Superliga, 1., 2. and 3. league. From 2017 the Superliga, 1. and 2. league will consist of 12 teams each, the 3. league will consist of the remaining teams. The division into the leagues will be based on the performance in the European Cup.
When and where is the next EACS?
As already briefly stated, the next Team European Championships in Athletics 2019 will take place in Bydgoszcz, Poland from August 9-11. The twelve participating teams are Germany, Finland, France, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and the Ukraine.
